Hi, I’m Madi! I started working at Talisman right after I graduated high school and immediately fell in love with the place! As I completed community college, graduated from The University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising with a focus on Marketing, and looked for a job in my field, I continued my role as a receptionist here. I had internships and interviews, but nothing felt quite right. After taking a year’s hiatus from Talisman to try out the financial field, I decided to ‘fly home’ and fully embrace the role of Salon Manager. ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!’ This is truly my happy place!

As Kari’s right-hand woman, I couldn’t be happier! I love the salon environment – even the smell of perms – and aim to make everyone who steps into the salon feel welcome and at home. I work directly with the stylists, receptionists, and clients to make sure everyone feels appreciated and as special as they are.
